Thank you for visiting my pages. I'm still a beginner webmaster and so I will add to it over time.
Some resources are here to help you plan your day. I hope they might be useful.
As you may have noticed from my site, my work involves various roles concerned with providing services to the public.
I am pleased to add the newest of these services - registered and accredited wedding celebrant.
I can tailor a ceremony to suit your personal preferences, date, location and include other elements such as
live music to enhance your occasion.
The first step of planning a marriage (legally speaking) is to set a date and choose a celebrant who is available at your preferred time and location. You'll need 2 witnesses over 18 years who are available to attend your wedding, so it's worth running through a few dates with some of your friends or relatives. As people do plan weddings even up to a year in advance, I suggest you consider booking your preferred celebrant as early as possible.
Your chosen celebrant will help you fill in the form known as "Notification Of Intended Marriage" at least a month and one day before the marriage date. Marriage in Australia is respected as one of your most important life decisions,so there are no surprise (Vegas !) weddings in this country.
Identification documents are required as a matter of law and your celebrant must view original or certified copies of these documents. Australian citizens require their birth certificates. Other documents may be required so please call for details of these which vary case by case. Requests for forms from various Government Departments, or engaging translation services for foreign language documents are processes which take time, averaging 4-6 weeks.
Let's plan your magic day.
Hope to hear from you, it will be my pleasure to help you celebrate,
Best Regards Steve Zirkler
